Michael Flood is from Cheshire and currently living in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He is a graduate of The University of Huddersfield, who successfully completing an MA in 2011. He was a co-winner of the Images of Bradford competition, and has also exhibited at Leeds Art Gallery.
Michael has a fascinated for the deconstruction of the photographic mechanism with spacial representation, including: geometry, depth of field and focal length and colour as a dynamic. He developed his unique style while working with incompatible media; paper; paint; ink, etc. Michael works with ink medium, sometimes drawing into it with his fingers, before reworking the image on a computer.
He is currently studying Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's New Vision and it's impact on modern art and design.
